On Thursday, February 15th, the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region, along with the support of EARN, hosted a Learning and Networking Event, Making Accessibility Easy, for employers and job seekers. Job seekers attended a refresher on enhancing their networking skills and learning tools for personal branding from Michael K. Shaughnessy.

Michael is as an award-winning entrepreneur, professor, and executive coach. Employers learned about workplace accessibility, AODA standards and compliance requirements, and received an introduction to EARN through a joint presentation given by Saiema Zaman, Susan Forster and Shannon Bruce. Employers and job seekers then came together to meet and network. Many thanks to EARN member, the YMCA-YWCA, for inviting EARN to take part in this event.
