April 19th: EARN / Accenture Practice Interview Session

On Thursday, April 19th, EARN and Accenture hosted a practice interview session for seven job seekers with disabilities. The event began with two presentations, the first about EARN, was given by Shannon Bruce, and the second presentation was led by Joe Mead and the team at Accenture. The latter focused on the company’s commitment to accessibility, ongoing career opportunities, and qualifications Accenture looks for in successful candidates.

The presentations were followed by practice interview rounds. This was an opportunity for participants to hone their job search skills and receive real-time tips on how to succeed in an interview, with individual feedback provided by Accenture staff to each job seeker. We extend thanks to Joe Mead and team for their continued commitment to supporting job seekers with disabilities to enhance their career search skills.

We are proud that this is the fourth event that EARN member Accenture has hosted with EARN since 2016. Last year an EARN job seeker was hired by the company following participation in a similar practice interview session.
